FINANCE OFFICE
Assistant Accountant (Payment and Staff Disbursement Section) (three posts) (Ref. 250410003-IE)
Duties
The appointees will be required to:
(a) perform accounting duties related to payment to suppliers and staff / students’ claims, ensuring timely processing, accuracy and compliance with the established rules, regulations, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
(b) handle enquiries from staff, students and suppliers;
(c) handle general office administration;
(d) assist in the enhancement of the staff claims and related payment systems as needed; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or his delegate.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree in Accounting or related disciplines; or a recognised diploma/certificate plus at least one year of work experience in accounting, auditing and other related fields;
(b) proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(d) good problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; and
(e) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
