Our client is a leading Innovation &Technology company in Hong Kong. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be part of the executive management team and work closely with the Board of Directors. The CFO will be responsible for assessing organizational performance against both the annual budget and company's long-term strategy, at the same time provide professional support and strategic advice to and collaborate with the Board of Directors and leadership management team in critical insights to the company’s strategic business development plan. The CFO will develop and maintain the capital budget, oversee cash flow planning, and ensure availability of funds as needed. The CFO will also oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships. At the same time monitor and evaluate the tax effectiveness of the operations and investments. Coordinating with financial partners, including shareholders, investors, financial institutions, and auditors is also an important aspect of this position.
Responsibilities:
- To lead the Finance & Governance and ICT teams and oversee all relevant financial operations and development including financial management, business performance and initiatives, internal control, financial and regulatory reporting.
- To oversee the entire finance and accounting function of the group, including fund raising, advise on financial structure and project development.
- To manage all financial and governance matters, including accounting, investment, taxation, legal compliance, budget and forecast.
- To monitor the corporate compliances, tax planning, treasury and statutory reporting and activities.
- To formulate financial and operational strategies, planning budget sessions, project accounting, contracts review and improvement activities. Continual improvements of internal and financial controls, along with the streamlining of policies and procedures.
- To supervise IT, Office Admin and Procurement functions.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Finance and Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years related solid experience in accounting & financial management, company secretarial and administration in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
- Professional qualification in ACCA/ HKSA/ ASCPA/ CPA /HKICA / ICSA
- Strong analytical skill, capable to critically examine and analyse financial data with business sense
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, highly independent and motivated
- Practical experience in dealing with legal documents will be an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and complete task within deadline
- Team player that is able to work with all areas of the business to identify and provide business improvement
- Excellent of spoken and written English, fluent in Putonghua
