Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

* As a 1st checker (for complex cases) / final checker (for simple cases), review the facility documents to ensure conditions precedent required are fulfilled before facility activation

* As a 1st checker (for complex cases) / final checker (for simple cases), ensure proper follow up of necessary conditions subsequent items within the approved period

* Maintain system data relating to document images, document lodgment, fire insurance, collateral safekeeping etc., if appropriate

* Perform good quality of work and within SLA

* Assist team head / team leads to review, streamline, and improve efficiency of daily operations of the teams, reduce processing turnaround time, maintain high quality of work delivered and ensure proper control functions to avoid any possible gaps / risks with proper & prompt escalation

* Provide coaching to junior team members

* Manage working relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers

Requirements:

* At least 2 years of experience in documentation checking

* Intermediate knowledge on various types of credit and loan documentation across different industries and products

* Intermediate knowledge on credit and/or regulatory requirements

* Good English writing proficiency

* Basic understanding of data structure, system infrastructure and application functionalities
