Job
The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks related to the planning, design, implementation, support and management of enterprise network infrastructure:

1. Conduct detailed system analysis, problem diagnosis, propose, develop and implement IT solutions in network infrastructure.
2. Execute the processing of network service requests and assist to develop related workflow and procedures.
3. Assist in managing network infrastructure projects and support the development and implementation of IT innovation initiatives.
4. Design and complete system specifications for different components of systems.
5. Conduct quality assurance and resolve technical issues for the system development and testing.
6. Monitor systems connectivity, performance and security control.
7. Provide proficient configuration, testing, technical operational and competent level of user support on system hardware, software or services.
8. Implement technical infrastructure and service enhancements.
9. Assist in provision of consultancy based on information technology and industry expertise.
10. Prepare requirement specifications and cases of testing; maintain systems documentations, reports and monitor service provision of IT solutions.
11. Prepare user guide and conduct user training.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.
13. Provide after office hours system and user support.

 
Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.
2. 4 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.

Preferred Attributes
For Post A – Structured Cabling System Management

1. Experience in planning, administration, implementation and support in structured cabling systems
2. Technical experience in structured cabling system for building

For Post B – Network Security, Network Implementation & Network Management System Development

1. Experience in planning, administration, implementation and/or support in at least one of the following areas:
   (a) large scale data network infrastructure
   (b) web application systems
   (c) network security infrastructure 
   (d) internet security services
2. Technical experience in at least one of the following technologies/tools:
   (a) Networking technologies, e.g. BGP, MULTICAST, OSPF, QoS, TCP/IP, VLAN, VRF
   (b) Application development with Python, Java, JavaScript or similar programming language
   (c) Network security technologies, e.g. IPS, NGFW, VPN
   (d) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and/or Web Application Firewall (WAF)
3. Certificate holder of any of the followings is an advantage:
   (a) CCNA
   (b) CCNP
   (c) CISSP

For Post C – Desktop Management and Mobile Device Management

1. Experience in supporting and managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) system or large scale Email infrastructure.
2. Technical experience in at least one of the following technologies/tools:
   (a) Apple and Android devices provisioning and management technologies, e.g. Apple DEP and Android Enterprise
   (b) Mobile network planning and management
   (c) Wireless and telecommunication technologies
   (d) Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory, Windows Server and TCP/IP network
   (e) Secure Email Gateway
   (f) Microsoft ActiveSync, Microsoft Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, Windows patch management
   (g) Programming language e.g. Java, Python, VB, MySQL
   (h) Automation and low-code development tools

For All Posts

1. Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
2. Effective communication skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Remarks

1. Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
2. Relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience.
3. May be required to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.
4. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
