Health and safety regulations on new build development project in Hong Kong

Client Details

We are partnering with Local Developer in Hong Kong. Currently, they are seeking for Safety Officer with New Build development background to join the team. The ideal candidate responsible for ensuring that the project site complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Description

• Develop and implement safety plans and procedures for the project site, in accordance with local and national regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards, and work with project managers and contractors to address any issues.
• Provide safety training to project staff and contractors, including orientation for new hires, and ongoing safety education and awareness.
• Investigate incidents and accidents on the project site, and develop corrective action plans to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions, and provide regular reports to project management and regulatory agencies.

Profile

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years' or above working experience in construction is preferred
• Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Working experience in MTRC property construction projects will be an advantaged
• Good Command in English and Chinese
