I work in-house as a solicitor at a large firm in Hong Kong, but after more than a decade the job has got a bit stale and I am looking for something new. A friend suggested qualifying as a company secretary.

It sounds alluring, but I wonder if there are sufficient job opportunities to justify the change of direction, not to mention the time and effort needed. What do you think?
