HONG KONG: The Hoffman Agency, a global, high-tech public relations company, has promoted Rebecca Lansdell to deputy general manager of the Hong Kong office. In addition to using her rich account experience to lead some of the agency’s biggest client campaigns, she will be focused on growing and strengthening the Hong Kong team and developing new business opportunities.
With around a decade of dedicated experience in technology PR and marketing communications, Lansdell brought her strategic counsel and strong client servicing capabilities to The Hoffman Agency in early 2012, to develop and run existing regional accounts such as PayPal, managing communications for the brand across four markets in Asia Pacific.
She has also organically grown and won several key local accounts, including IT services giant Fujitsu and technology start-up PassKit, proving her ability to create and capture new business value.
“[Lansdell] has always impressed the team with her leadership, creativity and counsel which has contributed to the success of the agency and helped to fuel continued growth of our Hong Kong operations,” said Shingo Nomura, vice-president of North Asia at The Hoffman Agency.
“Our clients have been quick to praise her outstanding client service and strategic thinking, and we look forward to [her] continued sharing of best practices and knowledge with her expanded role.”
Prior to joining Hoffman, Lansdell worked both in-house and agency-side leading international campaigns across APAC and EMEA for a variety of leading technology brands, including Microsoft, Research In Motion and Symantec.
