Meaningful Purpose
Joining Go Green in the City, the global case competition of innovative solutions for smarter and more energy-efficient cities, has granted me an entrance ticket to the Energy business. During the Trainee Programme rotations, I had the chance to work as EcoDesign Engineer, Marketing Engineer and I am now a Sales Engineer for End Users Solution.
These experiences taught me a lot about the Energy dilemma, the urgent need to find sustainable solutions for our planet. The macro challenges cannot be solved solely by advanced environmental technology, but with collective support from corporations, governments and the general public to commercialise the technology, enforce environmental policies and educate people. Schneider Electric is committed to providing innovative solutions that offer access to safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy. I share the same belief and I’m proud to help commercialising energy-efficient solutions and make energy accessible for everyone, everywhere and at every moment.

Digital and Innovation
Have you ever considered that tackling climate change through energy efficiency might be a key mission for our generation?
When I started out with Schneider Electric, I was already amazed by the innovative solutions the company offered. I was working on the Hong Kong Sludge Treatment Facility project, which treats all the sludge in Hong Kong, converting it into electricity while making the whole facility self-sustainable without consuming any electricity from the grid!
Inspired by the company’s vision, I became a Product Marketing Manager with a mission to ensure all product ranges were upgraded to Connected Products, which would then be monitored and controlled and could provide the necessary data for Apps, Analytics and Services ensuring efficiency, sustainability and resilience, all under the EcoStruxure IoT/IIoT strategy.
Studies indicate that 82 per cent of buildings have not adapted any cost-effective energy-efficient solutions. Can you imagine the untapped potential digital and innovative energy-efficient solutions could bring to Hong Kong?

Equal Opportunities to Everyone Everywhere
“Wherever you go, go with all your heart!” That’s one of my favorite mottos in life and I followed it thoroughly when joining Schneider in France, to work on Employer Branding.
The international environment I found here, the passionate people and the openness to new ideas made me want to contribute more, feeling the difference I was bringing was being valued.
I was surprised to discover that the company didn’t have one single headquarters, but a “multi-hub” model with three global hubs located in Hong Kong, Paris, and Boston. This enables advancement opportunities regardless of location, helping create a genuinely diverse workforce, while strategic decisions are being taken close to the end markets.
After almost three years in the same role, I was offered the chance to relocate to Hong Kong to develop my professional expertise and discover a new culture. Of course I said yes! Schneider really practises what it preaches, embracing differences that create value, irrespective of nationality, location, background or gender, which motivates me to contribute my best to its meaningful vision.
