What does Thales Critical Information Systems and Cybersecurity do?
We play a key role in keeping the public safe and secure. We guard vital infrastructure and protect national-security interests by providing complex safeguard solutions for critical information systems and cybersecurity. Our mission is to continuously ensure the performance, resilience and security of our customers’ critical information systems, in the face of constant breakthroughs in IT and the continuous evolution of cyber threats.
What sort of products do you provide?
We started from providing products and solutions for security modules before expanding to application security and consulting for advanced solutions. Together with our cybersecurity consulting service, we help our clients’ safeguard the security of payment transactions, identities, applications and networks. We also provide dedicated professional services that deliver pre- and post-sales solutions, integrations, and product maintenance. We act as a one-stop shop for many banks, governments and major enterprises globally.
What leadership skills or lessons are you hoping to impart?
I hope to show my shadows how important it is to have a broad vision, and to be able to combine this with having a practical approach in delivering solutions. They should also learn that being self-managed, while having good teamwork skills, is an effective way of building a career.
What will really impress you in applicants?
Being curious of our products and services and having a passion for IT and cybersecurity are a must. I will also be looking for people with creative minds who are sensitive to other people’s needs.
