Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute sales & marketing plans for HKEX cash and derivatives business in mainland China, which include stock connect south bound trading, equity derivatives, FIC and commodity futures and options
• Secure market makers and liquidity providers for new produc launch, and closely follow up with client onboarding
• Develop and strengthen business relationship wth clients across various industries such as banks, brokers, research houses, mutual/ private funds, high frequency traders, prop trading firms, physical trading firms etc.
• Recommend client incentive schemes to create ideal market structure with price differentiation
• Identify suitable events and forums to attend and represent HKEX in a speaking role
• Conduct sales and marketing activities in accordance with internal policies, as well as rules and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments on key infrastructure implementations, market consultations and execution of project roadmap
• Manage and support cross market connect projects when necessary

Requirements:

• University Degree, preferably in Finance / Business/ Economics or related subject
• At least 10 years' relevant experience in well-established financial organisations
• Strong client network from cash and derivatives market
• Excellent cash and derivatives knowledge of mainland China market
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Strgon team work spirits
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a must
• Required to station in Shanghai/ Beijing and willing to have business travel
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position as Assistant Vice President
