This is a new System Analyst position with a leading Insurance firm in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for every step within the SDLC cycle and be expected to be leading a team of developers as well. We are looking for someone with experience preferably within the Financial Services space and good technical know how of COBOL or Oracle technologies.

Our client is one of the most well-known Insurance providers around the world with over 500 people in Hong Kong alone. To cope with the changing Insurance landscape and the digital age, they are implementing more projects and as a result, they are looking for high-calibre System Analysts to join their team.

Description

Design, develop, maintain, implement and manage in-house application systems
Define and follow the standards of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Collect and translate user requirements, functional specifications
Prepare and delegate execution of various system tests including User Acceptance Test
Ensure system complies with company and also regulatory standards
Support and train internal users and team members

Profile

Degree Holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Engineer and/or any other related discipline
Solid working experience in system development, preferably within the financial services sector
Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL Development, COBOL and/.NET development
Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
Flexible and can work under deadline pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese
