Responsibilities:

• Supervise contractors for building maintenance and alteration and improvement works
• Manage and execute the planned and unplanned maintenance works with least supervision from planning, implementation and completion in accordance with the contract requirements including preparation of works order and cost estimate, payment checking and closing of final account)
• Assist in the preparation of tender specification and update on asset register to facilitate the procurement process
• Schedule the sequence of works to align with the operational needs
• Control expenditures within the approved budgets and monitor the performance of the contractors for on time good quality delivery
• Review and improve existing maintenance strategies by developing innovative work processes or preventive maintenance measures
• Require to perform shift duties including overnight shift when necessary

Requirements:

• Higher Certificate or above in Building Studies, Facility Management, Structural Engineering or other related disciplines
• At least 8 years’ relevant working experience in building construction / fit-out works / infrastructural projects and / or maintenance works. Degree holder with 4 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered. Sound knowledge in contract management
• Proactive and service oriented; team player with good communication, interpersonal and organizing skills
• Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1,2)
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage
