Main Duties:
Joining our Solutions Delivery Team, the job holder is required to implement and provide on-going support to overseas business units (BUs) in operations improvement initiatives and operations management system (nGen) implementation
His / Her major job responsibilities include:
¨ Work closely with users in overseas business units (BUs) for operations improvement initiatives and nGen implementation
¨ Prioritize, collect and define business & operational requirements, recommend solutions on system customization or business process to fit the business needs of BUs
¨ Define interface requirements to integrate solutions with BU’s existing systems
¨ Coordinate with external vendors and in-house development teams on application system design, development, testing, training and implementation
¨ Facilitate on-site rollout and post-implementation support inclusive of implementing on-going system enhancement whenever is necessary
¨ Participate in installation and configuration of J2EE based software products
¨ Plan and conduct training to users and / or internal staffs
Requirements:
¨ Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Information Engineering or related discipline
¨ At least 3 years relevant working experience
¨ Good communication, analytical, problem solving skills and strong work ethics
¨ Solid experience in Java(J2EE), Oracle and SQL
¨ Exposure to UNIX and LINUX is an advantage
¨ Hands on experience in using data integration tools and data warehouse
¨ Experience in container terminal operations is an advantage
¨ Good command of English and Chinese including Putonghua
¨ Occasional overseas travel are required
