Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of underwriting process of Life Business
• Monitor the quality of life underwriting and its effectiveness
• Monitor the medical fee expenses control and medical service quality
• Be responsible for the underwriting of high sum assured medical cases
• Establish the underwriting rules and guidelines following the Company policy and product specification
• Provide solutions to the inquiries/problems raised by sales distribution channels in respect of life underwriting
• Provide underwriting training support to frontline staff (both in operations and sales) and IFAs
• Deliver training and briefing to sales channels related to life underwriting area
• Maintain good relationship with sales channels to ensure service delivery matched with expectation
• Participate in Product or System Development Projects

Job Requirements:

• University graduate or above with professional qualification such as FLMI, medical qualification, etc.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Life Underwriting with at least 5 years in managerial capacity
• Sound knowledge in life operations workflow
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with all levels
• Strong leadership with effective people management skills
• Self-motivated, good sense of responsibility and high degree to integrity
