Company Overview
Scope
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales, as well as within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, overseas and implements all sales activities in his / her specific area of responsibility.
Primary Responsibilities

Directs all sales activities to ensure meeting goals of the marketing plan.

Attends major travel trade functions and promotional events to promote overall sales for the hotel.

Maintains files on major hotel accounts and sales filing system.

Executes visits to major travel trade accounts, government offices and meeting planners and reports to Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Sales on new potential market areas which need to be covered.

Ensures and creates awareness by all sales staff of competitors’ activities at all times.

Under the direction of Director of Sales & Marketing / Director of Sales, analyzes market changes and implements programs with the sales department to meet these changes, i.e. changes brought about by political, economic or competitive changes in the market place.

Assists in the execution of familiarization / site inspections by major clients / key accounts

Assists in realizing effective sales systems and procedures which ensures efficient execution of all kind of sales activities

Responsible to disseminate sales related information to other departments as appropriate.

Meets with all decision makers from key corporate accounts and meeting planners

Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone, fax, email contact and written communications.

Reviews proposals / contracts extended to travel trade accounts (local and overseas) to ensure standard are followed.

Compiles Sales Activities Reports and Sales Call Plans
Job Requirement
- A minimum of Higher Diploma of education level in hospitality management
- A minimum of 4 - 5 years of hotel travel trade sales
- Excellent command in both written and spoken English & Chinese (Mandarin)
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Mature and positive
- Result-oriented and willing to take up assigned business goals
