Job Description &   Responsibilities:

The web/mobile developer will be responsible for the design & development of our web/mobile projects that support Learning and Development activities. The ideal candidate will have advanced-level knowledge in UI/UX design, HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript prototyping. They should be able to create and manage new layouts and graphics across all our web platforms, including our new mobile applications.
 

• Successful candidates must also be able to work effectively in project teams while contributing constructive solutions
• Develop highly interactive web and mobile content that provides to give users a distinctive user experience
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing on any code developed and troubleshoot technical issues
• To quickly complete a variety of designs according to demand

Requirements:
 

• Bachelor degree, in web design, or equivalent accreditation
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience (e.g. design, development, implementation, integration of web/mobile projects)
• Excellent understanding of user experience, information architecture, web standards, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Able to use software such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator 
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills; ability to work independently
• Works well within a small team environment and is able to collaborate and/or coordinate with other internal departments and/or outside vendors
• Good verbal and written language skills in English and Chinese

Candidates with the following attributes will have an advantage:
 

• Project management experience including coordinating work across virtual working teams
• Hands on experience developing mobile applications and/or responsive web design for use smart devices (e.g. Android, iPhone/iPad)
• Basic understanding of common learning technology platforms (e.g. Cornerstone On Demand) and development tools (e.g. Lectora, Adobe Flash, WebEx)
