Responsibilities:

• Conduct market and strategic studies for formulating the market portfolio and development strategies in achieving the organization and tourism performance
• Analyse the market potential, visitors’ portfolio, behavior and characteristics for marketing strategies formulation independently
• Conduct data analysis with statistical tools (e.g. Excel, SPSS and SAS) and assist team members to perform correct and unbiased analysis using our database
• Conduct desktop research to identify new market and consumer trends. Provide analysis on market outlook and macro environment for strategic planning and business development
• Monitor the industry and market environment for alignment in strategic direction and to assess the implications and recommend on strategies for any special incident
• Evaluate organization and market performance and to advise on strategies establishment, development and compiling of the annual business plan
• Prepare business presentations and/or analysis reports for management, internal and external clients
• Work closely with internal teams and external parties for research initiatives and marketing issues
• Undertake any other duties / special assignments as required

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder preferably in Business Administration / Marketing / Statistics/ Quantitative Analysis/ MIS or equivalent with minimum 6 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing or business analysis 
• Data analysis skills including Excel, and SPSS/SAS is preferable
• Proactive in sharing ideas and make suggestions, strong writing skills and able to make abstract concepts or complex topics into presentable ideas
• Passionate about research and analysis, willing to develop career in this profession
• Experience in business model building will be an advantage
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and detail-minded
• Strong PC skills, especially in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Good command of both spoken and written Cantonese and English

The successful candidate will be engaged in contract employment for two years.
