Our client is a leading hospitality company in Hong Kong offering a wide range of event solutions for corporate and private clients. As they experience rapid growth, they are seeking an Event Specialist - Venue Relations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing venue options for corporate events across the region and internationally. You will need to reach out to potential venues, manage all requests and proposals, negotiate with suppliers in accordance to company terms and ultimately help to secure venue partnerships. This role requires attention to detail in event operations as well as strong negotiation skills. In order to be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• Three to five years of professional experience within events, travel services or hospitality
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with venue pricing is a MUST
• Strong communication skills including fluent English, Chinese language would be an advantage
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate with a team across the region (especially Singapore and Australia)
• Professional in nature and strong communication skills
