As the Regional Accountant, this role will require the individual to manage the full set of accounts for the allocated countries in APAC region and ensure the accuracy is inline to company expectations.

Our client is a global manufacturer business who has built great reputation over the years within their respective industry. Due to the continuous expansion across the APAC region, they are looking to hire a Regional Accountant on a permanent basis.

Description

Directly reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the duties include:

• The preparation of all general financial statements
• Preparation of the profit & Loss account to show results of business operations
• Preparation of all general ledger reconciliations from juniors
• Assisting management in preparation of Month end and Management reports
• Supervision and development of junior accountants
• Other ad hoc duties and financial projects as when required

Profile

The Successful Applicant will hold a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and will be CPA qualified or equivalent. You will have a minimum of 5 - 8 years experience within Big 4 and also in a similar commercial role. Manufacturing industry exposure is a bonus however regional exposure is a must. You will have experience in taking ownership of the financial reporting. You will have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as having a confident ability use of Excel and MS Word. SAP experience is highly advantageous. You will be a highly driven individual who will be result-orientated and have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
