The appointee will support the exercises on reviews of undergraduate curriculum, language policy and development of non-formal learning. The duties include providing secretarial support to different work groups or task forces; reviewing literature; drafting and implementing review plans; organizing focus group interviews, consultation sessions and other activities related to the exercises; collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data; writing papers and reports; and performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisors. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree, in Social Sciences or Education discipline; and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. They should display initiative and responsibility; be a good team player; have good interpersonal, administrative and organization skills; and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timeline and be attentive to details. Proficiency with statistical packages (e.g. SPSS) will be an advantage. Immediate availability is preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave and outpatient medical benefits.
