Part-time Teaching Assistant (Ref.: 16-PTTA-388-O)

Duties and Requirements

The appointees will be required to assist in, and where necessary, undertake course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes. Major duties include conducting tutorials, marking assignments/examination scripts and performing other related teaching and administrative duties. Requirements for relevant courses are as follows:

• Discourse Analysis

Applicants should possess a recognized degree, preferably a higher degree, in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics or a related discipline. Preference will be given to those with relevant professional experience/teaching experience at tertiary level.

• The Structure of Modern English: Sounds and Meaning

Applicants should possess a recognized degree, preferably a higher degree, in English, Linguistics or a related discipline. Preference will be given to those with relevant professional experience/teaching experience at tertiary level.

• 中國現當代散文理論與實踐

申請者須持有認可學位，主修中國語言及文學或相關科目。持有碩士或以上學位及具相關專業/教學經驗者可獲優先考慮。

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time fixed term contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
