Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) assist in all booking matters of the Jockey Club Auditorium and Chiang Chen Studio Theatre including the handling of booking enquiries, site visits, and other administrative duties according to established procedures and guidelines in a customer-service oriented manner;
(b) assist in ticketing, event coordination and programme logistic matters of the Jockey Club Auditorium and Chiang Chen Studio Theatre;
(c) provide logistic and administrative support to the booking service and marketing matters of the Office;
(d) assist in the implementation of marketing activities and special projects; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of the Office or her delegates.
The appointee will be required to work beyond normal office hours when necessary.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree/diploma;
(b) have at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience preferably in managing performing venues;
(c) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
(d) have pleasant personality and be customer-service oriented;
(e) possess good communication and interpersonal skills; and
(f) have sound knowledge of computer applications.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
