The applicant must possess

1. a recognised degree in Information Technology (IT) or other related disciplines; possession of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) / Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) would be an advantage;
2. a minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience in design and supporting multi-sites network infrastructure;
3. familiarity in virtualization, storage, wired and wireless network, WAN optimization, network security, unified communication, database and system management;
4. in depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, and VMware;
5. good communication and interpersonal skills;
6. pro-active, good organisation skills and strong teamwork mindset ; and
7. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include

1. to analyse business requirements to develop IT infrastructure solutions, including but not limited to networking, servers, firewalls, end user devices, and their framework;
2. to establish governing principles for IT infrastructure design and deployment and ensure the best practices are followed;
3. to identify the areas / opportunities of improvement on IT infrastructure support and make proposal on project / enhancement initiatives;
4. to establish proper documentations to ensure IT infrastructure installation / reinstallation / recovery, and effective ongoing operations;
5. to participate in evaluation of IT infrastructure technologies and products;
6. to monitor and administrate the IT infrastructure to maintain a reliable and stable operation environment;
7. to conduct regular review on the operating IT infrastructure to identify the areas for improvement;
8. to manage and execute assigned projects to produce quality and timely deliverables; and
9. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the CIC.
