We are now looking for a talented Network and Systems Engineer to be part of our dynamic team based at our headquarters in One Island East. Reporting to the e-Services Operations Manager, the incumbent should be:

• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills; ability to identify patterns and generate informed ideas
• Focus on end user’s or customer’s needs; ability to set expectations and understand end user behavior
• Ability and willingness to proactively accept and drive change to accomplish positive collective outcomes
• Ability to understand strategy and align tactical and strategic work in a well-balanced way to achieve results

His / Her responsibilities will include:

• Perform Microsoft Windows and Web Server Systems installation, configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain Microsoft SharePoint intranet, e-forms, workflow and SharePoint Apps
• Perform routine monitoring and operational tasks on Server operations such as user account maintenance and access rights administration
• Perform backup system installation, maintenance and operations
• Perform disaster recovery system maintenance and operations
• Response to system events and incidents, participate in patch management, capacity planning, performance tuning, maintain documentations
• Participate in product evaluations
• Assistance in project implementation
• Liaison with vendors and services providers

Together with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange/Outlook
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft SharePoint, workflows, InfoPath forms and SharePoint Apps
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft IIS and Apache Server systems
• MCSE/CCNA/CCNP/CISSP/VCP5.0 certification is a plus
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Networking system, Microsoft Server Platform support and maintenance
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Fluency in Mandarin
