The position requires a broadly dynamic, experienced and passionate manager who is able to effectively develop the organisation’s campaigns, development educational and local programmes, reports to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop and implement campaign and Hong Kong programme strategies, in line with the organization’s plan
• Grow partners over the next 5 years by proactively reaching potential stakeholders
• Lead and manage the campaign and Hong Kong programme team on education, campaign and Hong Kong programme initiatives
• Initiate, plan and organize education and campaigning events
• Work with other units in implementing other Plan’s activities
• Positively contribute to the management team and the effective running of the organization

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Social Work
• At least 5 years of experience with at least 2 years in managerial position
• Experience in working on Hong Kong poverty issues with a focus on children and ethnic minorities is a must
• Experience in advocacy and research is preferable
• Knowledge of child protection and child rights is preferable
• Experience in project management, including managing education events is preferable
• English requirement – Preferable with Grade C or above in HKCEE (Syl. B) / 7 or above in IELTS
• Have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing
• Willing to travel
• Agree with Plan’s mission and vision and observe strictly to data privacy and child protection policies

Those with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
