Key Responsibilities
· Assist in policy research on matters relating to financial and economic policies on Mainland China
· Monitor global and regional economic and financial developments, and conduct research and analyses on topical issues of significance to financial stability
· Prepare briefing notes for the HKMA’s participation in international / regional forums and meetings
· Assist in preparation of conferences, workshops and seminars
Requirements
· Bachelor’s or preferably master’s degree in economics, finance or related fields
· Preferably with 3 years’ experience in economic policy analysis or related areas
· Good analytical and writing skills
· Knowledge of statistical software and financial databases such as Bloomberg and CEIC an advantage
· Good command of English and Chinese, as well as good interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to speak Putonghua preferred
