The Hong Kong Monetary Authority is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following post:

Key Responsibilities
•To analyse and monitor fixed income market dynamics, and manage exposures of assigned fixed income portfolio(s) especially management of interest rate risk
•To implement different investment strategies and manage risks actively in order to optimise active return profile
•To perform all tasks according to all our internal guidelines and best practice approach

Requirements
•University degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics or related fields. Relevant advanced degree a plus
•At least three years’ relevant experience in financial industry and solid market experience in fixed income products of developed markets
•Knowledge in financial products including foreign exchange, fixed income and derivative instruments
•Good at analysing macro-economic fundamentals and formulating investment strategies a plus
•Good communication / presentation skills
•Good command of written and spoken English
•Sound knowledge in applications of Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg, preferably with some programming skills in Excel VBA or other relevant modeling skills
