The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Key Responsibilities
•Conduct periodic reviews of the HKMA’s regulatory reporting framework and oversee implementation of enhancements to the framework from time to time
•Develop tools to facilitate efficient in-depth analysis of banking statistical data and production of high quality MIS reports
•Develop framework and tools for the HKMA’s participation in international initiatives on data collection, analysis and sharing

Requirements
•University degree in banking, accountancy or related fields
•At least 3 years of relevant experience in banking, financial and/or regulatory reporting, and/or banking data analysis
•Strong accounting and financial background with solid and in-depth knowledge of the International/Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and the Hong Kong banking regulatory reporting regime
•Strong Excel skills. Knowledge of Structured Query Language an advantage
•Good analytical and communication skills
•Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written. Proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
