Responsibilities:

• To be one of the technical officers in charge of the computer centre and supervise the work of computer technicians
• To provide preliminary fault diagnosis / maintenance services and to monitor the operation and performance of all audio-visual and information technology systems
• To report fault cases, conduct fault checking and provided technical support to the maintenance of building services equipment
• To prepare specifications, provide technical advice on application of software and to recommend acquisition of equipment for system upgrading
• To prepare guidelines, user manual and trainings for library staff about the operation of IT system, audio-visual system and building services equirment
• To assist library patrons in dealing with technical problems
• To perform any other technical services as assigned by supervisors.

Requirement:

• Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma in Electronic or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least one year’s working experience in monitoring the operations and performance of audio-visual and information technology systems and overseeing front-line maintenance of technical and computer equipment
• Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese and English
• Knowledge of operations of video-editing software preferred

Working Location: Tin Shui Wai

Working Hours:

• The normal working hours are 44 hours per week (exclusive of a one-hour lunch break) on irregular hours. The actual working hours will be arranged by the Section’s supervisors subject to operational needs.

Working Period: 12 months

Salary: $11K - $12K
