Department of Civil Engineering
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Engineering or a related field, plus at least 2 years’ professional or teaching experience. The appointee would be expected to teach Geotechnical Engineering and other civil engineering subjects; to co-ordinate tutorial classes and to supervise students for projects. He/She will also be required to participate in various administrative services. The appointee would also help on Project Mingde, the Department’s experiential learning project. Tasks include managing the projects in the Mainland and in Asia; organizing and supervising students for the project design and development; and accompanying students on field trips for site supervision.
