Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for achieving defined sales growth on the portfolio for key markets and determining strategic needs and cross-selling opportunities to increase account penetration and gain market share against competition
- Define customized sales/ marketing strategies for each account managed through account plans. Formulate and implement business development plans and strategies to achieve targets and generate profitable revenue through exploring new client acquisition as well as existing client development within a defined market segment
- Direct, oversee, manage key accounts regionally and new business for company's products and services, develop client relationship and vendor outreach, promote company services, arrange exhibition and participate in trade shows or other sales/ marketing events to increase market penetration
- Proactively and methodically report on the growth initiatives, clients, revenues, etc. to the management. Maintain and report on market and account development plan
- Collect, monitor and disseminate data on market trends and customer needs. Understand competitors’ positioning, gather competitive intelligence for preparing future strategic plans
- Build and maintain continuous and mutually beneficial relationship with clients at multiple levels to identify new business opportunities
- Cooperate with relevant parties within the Company to facilitate and develop internal strategic alliances to support the client’s account
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in any discipline
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience in retail, client services, relationship management or sales & marketing areas
- Experience in managing key accounts and/ or core vendors in commercial testing laboratory, retailing/ consumer goods industry is highly preferred
- Prior experience working with small, medium size and large clients across diverse geographies
- Able to interpret technical information and translate into common terminology
- Proven success in analyzing situations, developing strategies and creating executable plan that positively impact sales and business
- Fluent English, Cantonese and knowledge of Mandarin
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- An energetic, efficient, motivated self-starter able to lead by example and deliver results
- Possess acute sense of market trends and customer needs
- Must possess strong work ethic and excellent client service skills to ensure effective and responsive client interaction (internal and external)
- Able to communicate with people of different cultural background
