Monthly Salary Range: HK$28,970 – HK$46,190

Duties: The appointee will report to IT manager for the development, implementation, support services and enhancement of IT applications in academic areas, such as Student and Course Records, Time Tabling, Room Booking, Learning Experience Survey, Payment collection and Management Reporting.  He/she will participate in all stages of Software development life cycle.  He/she has to liaise with different levels of users and vendors in project implementation and application support, and to recommend technical solutions to improve the managed applications.  The job holder has to assist his/her supervisor in team management and to supervise/mentor Assistant IT Officers on application support.

Requirements: Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in IT disciplines or equivalent plus at least 4 years' relevant working experience in IT applications development.  They should possess extensive knowledge on IT projects implementation and participate in all stages of Software development life cycle.  He/she should have strong analytic, design and problem solving skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, being familiar with the School academic and IT operations.  Experience and knowledge on Oracle Campus solution and other academic applications will have a definite advantage.

Terms of Appointment:Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School provides excellent staff development opportunities.
