Key Responsibilities
- Drive and oversee PCFB’s strategies and programs regarding prevention, rehabilitation and research of Pneumoconiosis and Mesothelioma with the professional team.
- Build and maintain external relationships and communications with principal stakeholders including patients, patients’ groups, the Government, associations as well as the public.
- Lead PCFB advocacy activities to meet patients’ needs including maintaining and developing relationships with relevant government departments and partner agencies such as NGOs and hospitals.
- Develop and maintain relations with relevant commercial or institutional bodies in medical, pharmaceutical and public health sectors.
- Supervise the implementation and execution of prevention and rehabilitation programs, research projects and public relations.
- Evaluate the outcome and results of prevention, rehabilitation and research initiatives.
- Oversee the selection and contracting of research opportunities and ensure efficient use of research fund.
- Monitor the progress and achievements of research programs and ensure they fulfill the intended objectives.
- Act as Committee Secretaries to report to and execute for the Secretary General and Committees of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Research on decisions, progresses and results of various initiatives and programs.

Requirements
- A university graduate of relevant discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience taking a leading role with structured organization.
- Previous solid working experience in handling legal documents such as contracts and tenders.
- A devoted, proactive, credible and reliable person who is attentive to details with a high level of integrity and believes in the values and missions of the Board.
- A passionate and out-going person with experience in building and maintaining corporate relations as well as driving strategic programs and initiatives.
- An experienced person with knowledge on research and statistics basics.
- A self-disciplined person with strong administrative, managerial, interpersonal and communication skills (in both spoken and written English and Chinese) to lead his/ her team, conduct Committee meetings effectively and to liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties at all levels.
- A public speaker with experience in dealing with press, media and the community.
