Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing the bank’s asset and liability management strategies
• Assist in overseeing the bank’s financial risks, including liquidity, interest rate and market risk, establishing respective risk management policies and procedures, as well as monitoring of compliance with the established control measures
• Assist in establishing capital management regime to assess the capital adequacy of the bank in relation to its overall risk profile in accordance with the requirements of Basel III.
• Prepare regular management reports for senior management, ALCO and the Board
• Perform other ad-hoc projects as assigned
   

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA, HKICPA, CFA or any other related professional qualifications
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in banking industry
• Solid understanding of HKMA guidelines on capital and financial risk management
• Practical knowledge in financial risk management and capital planning is preferable
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Self-motivated and high degree of initiative with leadership capabilities
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
• Proficient in PC skills
