PoD is seeking a talented and experienced individual as our Engagement and Communications Specialist. This position will oversee all external and internal communications including managing the complete social media presence, driving the social media strategy, and managing the website and social media. You will need to be a natural engager, efficient in your planning and focused on delivery and the measurement of its impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Producing and publishing content on websites
• Develop timely and effective PR and social media advertising campaigns
• Customize and build our social media channels to ensure we are meeting engagement and audience growth
• Video Blogging
• Copy Writing / Content Writing
• Graphic Design
• Analyze and report social media actions monthly for successes and new opportunities
• Other duties will include keeping the organization up to date with the latest technologies and other social media tools
• Other duties as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in Social Media/PR Marketing;
• A proven track recording of working on relevant key social media sites;
• Advanced proficiency with social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
• Content writing and editing skills;
• Experience using Photoshop and video editing tools (eg. Final Cut) would be a significant advantage;
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented;
• Strong ability to complete multiple assignments concurrently whilst balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines;
• Excellent command of written and spoken in English and Chinese;
• Knowledge of PoD and passion for politics preferred.
