The Role:

The Development Assistant provides administrative support for the team of fundraisers at the Oxford China Office. This will include regular use of the University’s development database, the production of fundraising activity reports and assistance with English and Chinese correspondence, while maintaining close communication between the China Office staff and colleagues in the UK.

This is an exciting and stimulating role in a busy team, and the post holder will have the opportunity work on a wide variety of projects in the delivery of an ambitious fundraising plan. The Development Office and China Office culture is professional, collaborative and service-oriented, and values transparency, flexibility, trustworthiness, tenacity, energy, drive and the ability to act as an ambassador for the Office and for the collegiate University.

Requirements:

Applicants will have a good level of education (minimum Hong Kong DSE or equivalent), excellent organisational skills, very strong English and Chinese communication skills and an interest in UK higher education or educational fundraising.
