Requirements:

• (i) a postgraduate degree in social sciences, laws or arts, preferably with specialization in public administration or political science from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, plus at least six years’ relevant research experience in public policy, public affairs or other social sciences subjects; or
• (ii) a doctorate degree in the fields mentioned in (i) above from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, plus at least three years’ relevant experience;
• good understanding of public policy issues relating to anti-discrimination and promotion of equal opportunities and /or social integration; 
• excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English; and
• good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation and ability to work independently to complete the assignment within the specified timeframe.

Duties:

• To conduct researches on the experience of other jurisdictions in adopting legislative and/or administrative measures in tackling discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity; and
• To analyse findings and collate a study report.
