Secretarial Services Department is responsible for providing company secretarial services for HKEX group of companies, ensuring HKEX is operating at the highest level of corporate governance and is in compliance with the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, and pursuing the best corporate social responsibilities. The successful incumbent is expected to:  


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in companies secretarial work for HKEX and its subsidiaries in Hong Kong, PRC, and overseas for ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements 
  • Assist in project execution and completion, including company formation and restructuring
  • Prepare annual reports, interim reports, announcements and other corporate communications to shareholders
  • Maintain and update secretarial record / database / filing system
  • Handle departmental requests regarding corporate documents
  • Carry out ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

  • University degree with a minimum of 8 years’ working experience in secretarial services, financial services or related areas
  • Excellent English and Chinese writing skill is essential; proficiency in Putonghua is a distinctive advantage
  • Experience in handling PRC companies is an advantage
  • Have good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Able to work with common PC software
  • Able to work independently and attentive to details  
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered for the role of Associate
