Investment Services – Investment Management 

Hang Seng's Investment Services business offers a full spectrum of investment products and services to both private and corporate investors. Our customers can invest in over 400 investment funds managed by reputable international fund houses. The funds cover different asset classes, including global equities, bonds, money markets and foreign exchange markets. We also provide asset management services for retirement schemes, institutional investors and charitable organisations.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Position Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• A member of the Middle Office of asset management company
• Support fund managers in portfolio management, including pre-deal checking, portfolio reconciliation and monitoring, cash flow management, performance measurement and reporting, corporate action monitoring.
• Liaise with various departments of back office, risk management, operational control, compliance, internal audit, trustee, IT, product development and maintenance, and external regulators
• Set up trading rules in Bloomberg Trading System according to investment mandates.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance / Computing or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ banking experience, with related exposure to internal control, risk control or compliance covering asset management products or operations
• Familiar with investment restrictions, good understanding of HKMA / SFC / MPFA regulatory requirement
• Good interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and proficient in advanced MS Excel
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
