Salary: $188 per hour (Contract Period : 1 year) (Required to work 14 hours per week)
Duties: (a) To undertake operational visits to registered and unregistered schools and to prepare investigation reports; (b) To serve as the Overall Commander or assistant to the Overall Commander in operational visits, as the case may be; (c) To collect evidence including taking statements from witnesses and suspects; (d) To take follow up action and liaise with other government departments/authorities, if necessary, after operational visits; (e) To testify in court if a prosecution is mounted; and (f) Any other related duties assigned by the senior officers.
Entry Requirements : (a) Have at least 5 years of experience in law enforcement departments. e.g. the Hong Kong Police Force, Independent Commission Against Corruption, Customs and Excise Department and Immigration Department, and be at Police Sergeant or above, or equivalent; (b) Possess experience in law enforcement work; and (c) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Remarks: (a) Work outside normal office hours; and (b) Applicants are to consider that their applications are unsuccessful if they do not receive an invitation for interview by 16 January 2017.
Note : For appointment purpose, ’Grade C’ and ’Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ’Level 3’ and ’Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
