Responsibilities:

• Assist the Senior Manager, Media Relations to formulate and implement the communication plans for the airport development plans, as well as the daily operations of the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)
• Responsible for production of various communication materials, including press releases, newspaper supplements, informative videos, speeches and speaking notes
• Manage and handle media arrangement of various events and activities, including media workshops, briefings and interviews
• Assist the team during issues and crisis management to provide timely and accurate responses for maintaining a positive profile of both HKIA and Airport Authority Hong Kong, including timely reply to enquiries, issuance of announcements and line-to-takes, speaking notes for management
• Foster and maintain effective and strong relationship with media

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Communications, , Journalism, Language, Public Relations or related disciplines
• At least 7 years’ relevant experience in media in medium-to large-scaled corporations
• Preferably with exposure in media organizations/ government/ statutory bodies/ public sector organizations
• With established media network, particularly with local media
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
• A good team player who can work under pressure
• Meticulous with seasoned news judgment, abreast of development of the new media
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
