Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement and support various Client/Server, web based applications and handheld device (iPAD) systems to facilitate information sharing, operation, performance monitoring and promotion of Hong Kong’s Tourism Industry
• Support system development and interface projects, including the PartnerNet portal, to improve website performance and users’ experience
• Liaise with end users on user requirement definition
• Lead system analysis and design, implementation and testing
• Coordinate with end users and manage system vendors to ensure smooth project implementation and timely problem resolution
• Prepare, update and maintain proper filing of system specifications, user requirements, training materials and relevant system documentation
• Perform routine system operation and maintenance including DR drill operation

Requirements:

• University degree holder in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of IT working experience in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining application systems running in web based, mobile and client/server environment
• Proficient in XML, Java, Transact-SQL and scripting languages
• Solid experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database, Linux, SMTP, Java and J2EE environment
• Knowledge in iOS mobile application development is a plus
• Good project and vendor management skills. PMP is preferred
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese

The successful candidate will be engaged in contract employment for two years.
