INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICE

The appointee will report to the Director of Internal Audit. He/She will be responsible for i) planning and conducting audit assignments, which includes reviewing internal control systems, risk management processes and corporate governance practices; ii) preparing internal audit reports and making practical and value-added recommendations for continuous process improvement and adoption of best practices; iii) providing assistance in the preparation of management reports; iv) participating in development of strategic work plans; and v) carrying out ad hoc assignments and providing advisory service when necessary. Occasional traveling to PRC is required.

Applicants should possess a recognised degree with relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIA and/or CISA. They should have at least eight years of relevant audit experience, of which at least three years at supervisory level. Solid internal audit experience in sizeable organisations will be an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required. They should also be self-motivated, willing to accept new challenges and able to manage multiple assignments under pressure. Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills are essential. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
